I'm a dedicated bike commuter and like many technical people, enjoy modding bikes and hacking them. Certainly the availability of the GPS module for the Bug means that a lot of commute-enhancing apps are possible. The first that comes to mind is an app that sounds an alarm and warns me that it's going to start raining soon in my area based on scraping radar images off the National Weather Service website.
