I am a tinkerer myself :) The open source "industry" is something which motivates and brings out the true potential for creativity. However, there are times when it seems a little gloomy. Like recently, I wanted to throw my HP dv6000 out the window, because of all the problems it caused with Multibooting Linux. Hp has also gone as far as to ban some internal wireless cards (including them in a BIOS blacklist).

And the fact about Flash, WiFi implementation etc. Do we have to do that much extra work to bring a support for these functions? And yea, for my final year thesis, I am simulating an Open Source EEG device for Brain Machine Interface. Interesting idea to include in the BUG ain't it? (<a href="http://openeeg.sourceforge.net/doc/)" rel="nofollow">http://openeeg.sourceforge.net/doc/)</a> :)
